The Truth 25 Times A Second is an extraordinary collaboration between Ballet National de Marseille’s choreographer Frederic Flamand and renowned Chinese contemporary artist Ai Weiwei. Flamand’s company has gained recognition worldwide for their contemporary dance pieces as well as the partnerships between Flamand and other notable artists or architects.
Inspired by Italo Calvino’s novel, The Baron in the Trees, the collaboration of these two juxtaposing artists has resulted in the creation of a visionary work about an ever-changing world that pushes the limits of human movement.
The Truth 25 Times a Second was presented at Heath Ledger Theatre, State Theatre Centre of WA from 8 February - 11 February.
