Set in a seedy watering hold, Sydney Festival’s Cantina blurs reality and fantasy, the past, present and future. The performance explores the rapture and torment of desire through illusion, contortion, tightrope and acrobatics.
The production which has been produced by Strut & Fret Production House has enjoyed sold out seasons in Australia and abroad. Co-directed by Scott Maidment and Chelsea McGuffin, this critically acclaimed and award-winning piece was co-created with seven highly-skilled circus and physical theatre performers drawn from such illustrious troupes as Circus Oz acrobat, Circa and Circus Cirkor.
